It has been 110 days since the launch of Lake Norman Record and I am beyond thankful for the immense amount of support from the community in Iredell County. Lake Norman Record launched from my college apartment with the hopes of spreading awareness of the local community, events and news for those within the county—it has been doing exactly that. Thank you to those who have shared, supported and subscribed to LKNR!

It has been a wonderful journey so far and I cannot wait to learn more about the community. I have met some wonderful folks with big hearts and huge aspirations within Iredell County and I want to continue sharing their stories and make Lake Norman Record the place for local news, arts, culture and events.

CONNECT Iredell Partnership with Lake Norman Record

In addition to learning and connecting within the community, I have developed a wonderful partnership with Cindy Sutton, Spokeology Founder and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of CONNECT Iredell, who has been uplifting Lake Norman Record and working to keep the community alive and strong within Iredell County. Lake Norman Record is partnering with CONNECT Iredell to bring you all local events happening here in Iredell County and highlighting members of the community as well.

Cindy and I’s relationship was one that bloomed out of the blue but we both share one thing in common—sharing and uplifting local voices within our community. In addition to the partnership with CONNECT Iredell, I am a contributing writer for the return of the Inspiring Iredell series. I look forward to connecting residents and readers of Iredell County to small businesses and events to keep our community prosperous and strong.
